A guide to Cornwall’s Naturist Beaches
Naturism is alive and well in Cornwall. We are blessed with sheltered coves that are surrounded with cliffs and vegetation that give off heat. On a hot sunny day one can be forgiven for thinking you’re on the Mediterranean. The difference being that Cornwall is a lot more beautiful but hot sunny days are considerably more frequent on the Med.
The purpose of this web site is to give both locals and visitors a guide to where it is acceptable to take your clothes off and enjoy the beach as nature intended. The beaches listed have been selected not only for their naturist credentials but also for their suitability for couples families and singles (both male and female). Where anyone can go without worrying about witnessing any inappropriate behaviour. In fact inappropriate behaviour is actively discouraged by the locals on these beaches.
As with most naturist beaches these beaches are somewhat isolated and have no facilities so please make sure and take your own drinking water and food. Also none of them have a lifeguard so you must take responsibility for your own safety. If in doubt ask a local about any potential hazards before swimming. I’m sure you’ll find them friendly and helpful.
