A guide to Cornwall’s Naturist Beaches
Pednvounder (Treen)
One of the best known naturist beaches in Cornwall. To get there follow signs towards
Lands End on the A30 from Penzance. After the village of Drift proceed onto village
of Catchall before taking B3283 signed to St Buryan. A little over a mile after
St Buryan turn left into the hamlet of Treen and drive past the pub to park in a
large car park at the end of the hamlet. Leave the car park the way you came in
and turn left to walk along a track signed to a campsite. Keep going straight past
the camp site on your right until you come to the coast path. Cross the coast path
taking a narrow path opposite and slightly to your right. This path leads down to
the beach although I should warn you that the last few yards are a bit of a scramble
so make sure to wear sensible shoes.
Access to this beach can be a bit tricky at high tide, especially if it’s a spring
tide. Sometimes the number of naturists on this beach can run into the hundreds.
